Jessica is excited to join Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival in the role of Community Engagement Manager. After 5 years in the human services non-profit sector, she is excited to bring her fundraising, event planning and development skills to the world of performing arts. Originally from South Texas, Jessica has lived and worked in the Reno/Tahoe region since 2016. In 2023, after 20+ years of practicing yoga, she took the leap and became a 200hr certified yoga instructor fulfilling a personal dream. She is looking forward to meeting and working with the talented actors, crew, staff, volunteers, donors and sponsors that make LTSF such an amazing experience for all. When not working or yoga-ing, you can find Jessica on a Tahoe beach, hiking a nature trail, scouring a thrift store or dancing at a music show with her partner-in-crime, Shane.
