The D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program features fun and interactive plays that afford family audiences of all ages a great introduction to the works of William Shakespeare and the wonders of live theater. Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is proud to offer these performances FREE at Sand Harbor at Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park and throughout the Reno-Tahoe-Truckee region.

Interact-PhotoInterACT In-School Residency Program

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival’s acclaimed in-school residency program, InterACT features activities that get students out of their seats and engaged with the many timeless themes of Shakespeare’s works as well as the magic of live theater. Workshops are offered to schools and community groups in Nevada and California throughout the school year.

Funding to support our organization has been provided by Nevada Humanities through Congress and the National Endowment for the Humanities as part of the CARES Act economic stabilization plan of 2020.
