Ticket & Sales Policies/Details:
- All sales are final and non-refundable.
- COVID-19 Regarding the current COVID-19 situation, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is following the lead of city, state and federally elected officials, as well as implementing strategies recommended by public health authorities. We are also working closely with Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park as we maintain our regularly scheduled events and performances in July and August as planned. We remain vigilant, and are prepared to make decisions based on current needs, as well as in response to changing conditions.
Sales & Weather Policies:
- Weather: Performances are not cancelled prior to their scheduled curtain time due to weather disruptions (rain, etc.). In the event of a weather-related cancellation during a performance, tickets and NV State Parks Entrance Passes can be exchanged for another performance within the same season at our onsite ticket office according to its hours of operation. Announcements regarding weather cancellations will be made from the stage at the performance’s scheduled start time.
- AQI: We also monitor Air Quality Index (AQI) disruptions at our venue. If AQI levels at Sand Harbor consistently trend to exceed 200 on a performance day, we will begin to explore a cancellation in advance of curtain time. If a cancellation is necessary, we will communicate with patrons via email and social media by 3:00 p.m. PT and share ticket resolution options.
- Exchanges: Other ticket/entrance pass exchanges are permitted for performances within the same season and must be made 24 hours prior to the originally scheduled performance curtain time. A $5 per ticket fee will be charged. Exchanges are subject to availability and restrictions may apply. Tickets returned to our Box Office qualify as a tax-deductible donation if received 24 hours prior to a performance. NV State Parks Entrance Passes are not eligible for a tax-deductible donation.
- Youth Tickets are valid for individuals who are 25-years-old and younger and are available in the Lower/Upper Gallery seating sections only. An ID may be required for admittance.
- Children (ages 2 and under) may attend mainstage performances for free as a “Lap Child” of a patron seated in our Lower Gallery and Upper Gallery seating sections. Children older than 2 must be ticketed at the Youth Ticket rate in these seating sections. Please note that there is not enough space between seats for car-seat baby carriers; children must be seated in an adult’s lap. “Lap Child” seating is not permitted in Premium or Café Table seating sections.
- We do not fulfill ticket orders by mail. You may select to pick your tickets at our Sand Harbor Box Office on the night of the performance or receive your tickets by email to print your tickets at home (tickets will be emailed 7 days prior to ticketed performance(s).
