Community Engagement Coordinator
Annual, Full-Time (Flexible/Remote-Friendly)
Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival’s (LTSF) Community Engagement Coordinator cultivates and activates relationships with businesses, community organizations, media partners and patrons. Working with the Executive Director (ED) and the Director of Marketing and Communications (DMC), this team member will exceed related contributed and earned income goals.
What you will do as part of the LTSF team:
- Activate sponsorships. Conceive and execute a community engagement plan, in collaboration with the ED and DMC, to meet seasonal sponsorship income goals.
- Cultivate group sales. Identify groups/partnerships and activate sales.
- Engage media. Curate and activate relationships with local/regional media outlets in collaboration with the DMC.
- Manage merchandise operations.Develop/design Gift Shop merchandise and manage operations to meet income goals in collaboration with the ED and DMC.
- Coordinate artist residences.Collaborate with the ED and LTSF’s Company Manager to accommodate housing for visiting artists.
- Contribute to a team-centric culture. Support LTSF activities throughout the season.

You might be a great fit if you have/are interested in gaining:
- Experience in any/many of the following related areas: sales, marketing, sponsorship and/or media/public relations, community outreach, special event planning
- Excellent internet & computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Experience with ticketing and/or ticket-based software
- Ability to synthesize and analyze data
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design programs
This is a salaried position with flexible weekly hours to reflect the dynamic schedule of the theater. While weekly hours will vary throughout the year, pay per pay period (twice per month) and benefits will remain consistent. The position will work an average of 24-30 hours/week in the off-season (Oct. – Mar.) and 40 hours/week during the busiest periods (Apr. – Sept.). Pay range for this position is $36,000 – $42,000 annually.
