We are delighted to present this year’s Showcase Series performances. Reserved seating tickets for some events will sell out within minutes, so please consider general admission seating when purchasing tickets. There are no bad seats in the house. And remember, we have a variety of wonderful performances this season; so if your first choice is not available, please consider exploring something new. We have something for everyone!

Don’t miss this diverse lineup of fantastic live entertainment on the Warren Edward Trepp Stage at scenic Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park.

Parking Note: Beginning in 2019, a Nevada State Parks Entrance Pass is required to gain access to and park at the venue that Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival calls home for all events. The $10/per vehicle/per day fee is required by Nevada law and may be used to access Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park after 5:00 p.m. on the date listed on the Pass only. While LTSF does not benefit directly from Nevada State Parks Entrance Pass fees, we are pleased to afford our patrons the convenience of securing Nevada State Parks Entrance Passes in advance of their visits as part of our ticket purchasing processes. Please consider adding-on an Entrance Pass(es) as part of your purchase to facilitate ease of access during your visit.

Take a trip back in time to New York’s Catskill Mountains, circa 1969, as the Reno Phil presents A Night at Woodstock featuring Jeans ‘n Classics. Throw on your favorite tie-dyed shirt and join the Reno Phil Orchestra along with guest vocalists as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the seminal Woodstock music festival. You’ll hear songs made famous by Janis Joplin, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, and more.

Sierra Nevada Ballet presents Shakespeare’s comic classic that you love, but with a film noir twist! Ananda Bena-Weber returns to direct her second full-length production following the terrific success of last year’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (as seen on ARTEFFECTS). A highlight of our 2019 Showcase Series is sure to be an evening of terrific music with Grammy-nominated jazz trumpeter Rick Braun. Accompanied by a five-member backup band, Rick will thrill Sand Harbor audiences with his original compositions and jazz standards. During his career, this trumpet maestro has soloed on over 20 #1 smooth jazz hits and issued over 17 albums. We are thrilled to welcome this world-class artist to our Showcase Series stage as part of the 6th annual Prim Jazz Night!

With a 14-year run atop the DownBeat Critics Poll, a Grammy Award, a dozen Grammy nominations, and 8 Jazz Journalists Association Awards for “Male Singer of the Year,” this concert featuring jazz vocalist Kurt Elling promises to be a standout performance accompanied by the 18-piece Reno Jazz Orchestra. Kurt’s music and wit appeal to the full range of music lovers – jazz fans and jazz hipsters alike. As Elling does not regularly perform with big bands, this extraordinary evening will be a unique treat for audiences. The World Concert: A Peace Project of Truckee Tahoe
