A Basic Overview…

Premium, Café Table, and Lower Gallery are assigned seating sections. Upper and Side Gallery seating sections are general admission zones. Assigned seats number from the center aisle out. House left seats are odd numbered and house right seats are even numbered (for example: Row H, Seats 2 & 4 are on house right and are together along the center aisle; Row H, Seats 1 & 3 are on house left and are together along the center aisle).  Chairs are preset in all seating sections. Personal chairs are no longer permitted in the theater.

The Premium section contains Rows A to F. Café Tables are Row G (regardless of the row in which they are located). The Lower Gallery section comprises rows H through X.  See below for more detailed information regarding all of our seating sections at Sand Harbor.

Premium Seating

Premium Seating is assigned and includes the most intimate view of the performance. These seats offer you a truly first-class experience which features roomy Adirondack chairs and wait service. Food and beverages from Shakespeare’s Kitchen are delivered directly to you prior to the start of the performance and then again during intermission. Patrons must be seated by 6:30 p.m. and orders must be placed by 6:45 p.m. in order to take advantage of wait service. Dinner, drinks and gratuity are not included in the ticket price. Due to space restrictions, coolers are not allowed in this section; bags small enough to fit under your feet/chair are be acceptable. Our theater staff will assist you in relocating coolers and larger baskets.

Cafe Table and Chairs

Café Table & Chairs Seating

Cafe Table Seating is assigned and offers café style tables with seating for two or four in comfortable chairs. Cafe Table Seating offers all of the amenities that are available in the Premium Seating section – including excellent views of the stage and wait service from Shakespeare’s Kitchen. Patrons must be seated by 6:30 p.m. and orders must be placed by 6:45 p.m. in order to take advantage of wait service. Dinner, drinks and gratuity are not included in ticket price. Due to space restrictions, coolers are not allowed in this section; bags small enough to fit under your feet/chair are be acceptable.  Our theater staff will assist you in relocating coolers and larger baskets.

Lower Gallery Chair

Lower Gallery Seating

Lower Gallery seating is assigned.  All seats are comfortable, pre-set sling-fabric chairs.  Cooler size is limited in this section to 14″ long x 9″ high x 10″ wide; your cooler should be able to fit between your feet to allow guests to safely pass in the aisles.  Our theater staff will assist you in relocating larger coolers that do not allow for safe passage between the aisles.

Upper Gallery Seating

Our Upper Gallery Seating Section offers open (or general admission) seating.  All seats are comfortable, pre-set sling-fabric chairs, but seating in this section is NOT assigned (any GA row/seat number referenced on your ticket is for internal inventory purposes only).  Personal chairs are not allowed in this section.  Cooler size is limited in this section to 14″ long x 9″ high x 10″ wide; your cooler or bag/backpack should be able to fit between your feet to allow guests to safely pass in the aisles.  Our theater staff will assist you in relocating larger coolers that do not allow for safe passage between the aisles.

Youth Ticket Seating

Youth Tickets are available for guests 25-years-old and younger for all performances. Youth Tickets are available/valid for Lower Gallery or Upper/Side Gallery seating sections only. Youth tickets must be picked up at the Sand Harbor State Park onsite Box Office; a valid may be required to claim each ticket. There is no Youth ticket pricing for Showcase Series events.

Free Lap Child Seating Policy

Children (ages 2 and under) may attend mainstage performances for free as a “Lap Child” of a patron seated in our Lower Gallery and Upper Gallery seating sections. Children older than 2 must be ticketed at the Youth Ticket rate in these seating sections.  Please note that there is not enough space between seats for car-seat baby carriers; children must be seated in an adult’s lap.  “Lap Child” seating is not permitted in Premium or Café Table seating sections.

Wheelchair/Mobility-Impaired Seating & Assisted Listening Devices

Wheelchair accessible seating and mobility-impaired seating is available, as are assisted listening devices. Please call the Box Office at (800) 74-SHOWS to order your accessible tickets and make arrangements. Although we will make every effort to seat your entire party together, due to limited seating, we can guarantee seating for only one companion guest with each wheelchair-bound or mobility-impaired patron.

Patrons who require assisted listening devices must present a valid driver’s license and/or credit card, which will be returned at the conclusion of the performance upon return of the device. There is no charge for the use of device.

Service animals, which are individually trained to perform tasks for patrons with disabilities, are permitted. Service animals are considered working animals, and not pets, which are strictly prohibited at Sand Harbor / Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park.  Emotional Support and Therapy animals are not permitted.
