INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (Summer 2008) -Traveling to summertime hot spot Lake Tahoe and attending the 2008 Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival just became a whole lot easier.  An overnight lodging package with Harrah's and Harveys Lake Tahoe offers a two night stay, $100 dinning credit and $150 spa credit.  Lodging packages are valid July 13 through Aug. 14, Sunday through Thursday based on a two night minimum and availability. The picturesque 30-40 minute drive from Harrah's and Harveys Lake Tahoe to Sand Harbor State Park, home of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, allow for Festival goers to experience the true beauty of the lake and surrounding areas.  During a two night stay in Lake Tahoe, visitors can also take advantage of the attractions that Harrah's and Harveys Lake Tahoe properties offer.  Fine dinning, gaming, shopping, spa facilities, nightlife, an outdoor summer concert series and the infamous Improv comedy club are just a few elements that make these one of the highest rated casinos in the country.  

Evening performances for the 2008 Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival begin July 10 - Aug. 17, with shows running seven nights a week.  This year's performances include "A Midsummer Nights Dream" and "Richard III" and the new original musical "CAMBIO."

The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established for the cultural benefit and enjoyment of all residents and visitors to Lake Tahoe and Reno.  Annually drawing more than 30,000 attendees from across the country to the specially built Warren Edward Trepp Stage along the north shore of Lake Tahoe, the Festival is a regional advocate for producing the finest cultural events in the region.  Through its in-house artistic direction, the Festival produces three plays each summer, creating original costuming, set design and choreography, and attracting a team of national and international stage talent.  The Festival's community outreach includes and annual program, InterACT, designed to educate future generations on the importance of the arts, theatre and music.
