- University Expands Partnership with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival
Jul 11, 2009 When the 37th annual Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival opens July 11, the University of Nevada, Reno theater department will be able to take personal pride in the production. As part of a partnership that has been growing since last year, the University offered the use of its costume shops, scene shops and rehearsal space to the Festival for the summer. In return, University theater students were offered internships for the Festival’s summer season.

- Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival Raises the Tempo with a Monday Night Music Series
Apr 15, 2009 The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival completes its summer score with the premiere of the Urban Village Monday Night Music Series, July 13 through Aug. 17. The diverse line-up of musical performances, found typically in larger metropolitan locations such as New York and Los Angeles, graces the shores of Lake Tahoe with musicians from around the globe bringing their talent to the Sand Harbor stage.
