The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

This season you have the opportunity to see all of Shakespeare's plays
in one night; as we perform the hilariously entertaining Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) under the direction of our 2010 Producing Artistic Director Charles Fee.

Live Music At Sand Harbor

Live music set against the magnificent Lake Tahoe backdrop at Sand Harbor is such a winning combination; so this year we are welcoming back our Music Series . Get ready to dance in the aisles every Monday and Friday night at Sand Harbor, featuring everything from blues, jazz, classic 70’s rock, Latin rhythm, the Reno Philharmonic, and so much more.

The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization established for the cultural benefit and enjoyment of all residents and visitors to our region. We strive to plan, produce and advocate the finest cultural events at Lake Tahoe while educating future generations on the importanceof including theatre, music and art in their everyday lives. Join now.

For Kids

The Festival's community outreach includes an annual educational program, InterACT ,designed to educate future generations on the importance of the arts, theatre and music and the D.G.Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program , a series of performances produced specifically for the younger audience presented free of charge during the summer throughout Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada. We are currently scheduling our educational outreach program for kids, the highly interactive InterACT youth theatre workshop series offered to schools and community groups in Nevada and California from February to June.
